What to Know:
It’s been clinically proven that early intervention to help improve food allergies can halt the rise of life-threatening symptoms.If your patient is displaying any of the following symptoms after ingesting food, refer them to us as soon as possible so we can work with you in their care:
Dysphagia
Abdominal Pain
Angioedema
Vomiting
Eczema
Anaphylaxis
Urticaria (e.g. hives)
Coughing, wheezing or shortness of breath
Failure to Thrive
Other examples of patient cases that may require specialized attention from our team include:
Infants and adolescents with food allergies who have not been introduced to early food introduction.
Patients with a variety of symptoms that have not been associated with a potential allergen yet.
Patients with worsening food allergy symptoms.
